Alan Bennett

After 16 years in Sydney, Alan Bennett recently relocated to Norwich with his wife Vikki to enjoy the beauty of Norfolk. He has been actively involved within photography and television for over 15 years. In Sydney Alan worked for SBS TV in their studios and on location before going freelance in 2006, where he did location sound recording for the Australian and American ABC networks. Alan began exhibiting his photography back in 1995 and won various awards through the Australian photography industry bodies: the A.I.P.P. and A.C.M.P. In 1997, he was awarded the 'Nikon/Panorama Showcase Photographer of the Year' for his portfolio of ten images. The judges included the late David Moore. In 2006 he received two nominations in the international Black and White Spider Awards for fine art and sport. Alan has recently become a qualified member in the wedding category of The Guild of Photographers after submitting a portfolio of work to the Guild's judging panel.
